ITINERARY
Day 1 ARRIVAL IN MARSEILLE – TRANSFER TO ARLES
Upon arrival in France at the Marseille Airport, our group will be greeted by a local driver and will be transferred by private vehicle to our hotel in Arles. Check in for the next three nights. The remainder of the day/ night is at leisure. Overnight in Arles – Hotel Mas De la Fenière, Arles
Day 2 CAMARGUE NATIONAL PARK (B)
Breakfast at the hotel (it may be a packed breakfast)
Early in the morning around 5:00 am, transfer to the Camargue National Park (Parc Naturel Régional de Camargue),
Parc naturel régional de Carmague (PNRC), or Regional Nature Park of the Camargue, is a protected area which was designated in 1970 along the shoreline of the Camargue, France. The park protects a wetland environment and an adjacent marine area. The boundaries of the park have been expanded to include a lagoon called the Étang de Vaccarès. The Camargue is also the site of a national nature reserve, and has been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and a biosphere reserve.
At approx. 5:30 am our group will meet with a horse manadier until approx. 9:00 am. Afterwards, we transfer back to hotel around 10:00 am. The day is free at leisure.
This evening around 7:00 pm you will photograph horses running through water on sunset with your manadier.
Overnight in Arles – Hotel Mas De la Fenière, Arles
Day 3 CAMARGUE NATIONAL PARK (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel (it may be a packed breakfast)
Early in the morning around 5:00 am, transfer to the Camargue National Park (Parc Naturel Régional de Camargue), you will get to take equine pictures again. The manadier will help you get a beautiful show of horses in another venue, with typical landscape of Camargue. End on manadier service at approx. 10:00 am.
Afterwards transfer back to hotel around 10:00 am.
Lunch in a typical restaurant in Arles (3 courses + 1 glass of wine).
In the evening around 6:00 pm, you will be off to the park again for another session with your manadier until approx. 10:00 pm. Return to hotel.
Overnight in Arles – Hotel Mas De la Fenière, Arles
Day 4 CAMARGUE NP – CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE – AVIGNON (B, D)
Breakfast at the hotel and then check out. Today, you will leave for the Parc Ornithologique de Pont de Gau where we will be birdwatching. Camargue is a true bird paradise – there are about 340 species of birds in there, including the most famous of them all: pink flamingos. The park is very accommodating for birders as well as birds, with paths and observation booths in major locations. Possibility to meet with a naturalist guide.
Stop at a local vineyard to taste wines of the region, followed by lunch on the property. Visit Châteauneuf du Pape, famous for its wine’s most renowned appellations of the southern part of the Rhône Valley. Enjoy a 3 course meal with 2 glasses of wine
After tasting, drive onward, check into the hotel for one night. Overnight in Avignon – Hotel Danieli.
Day 5 AVIGNON – MARSEILLE (B)
Breakfast at your hotel and then check out and depart Avignon and transfer to Pont du Gard, one of the most beautiful Roman Constructions in the region.
Today our group will enjoy lunch on our own and then continue to drive to Marseille. Discover the Phocean city on your own, from its Old Port to Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica, passing by the MUCEM. Check into the hotel for one night.
Overnight in Marseille – Hotel Best Western
Day 6 MARSEILLE – END OF TOUR (B)
Breakfast at your hotel then check out. We would be
happy to arrange additional travel arrangements or transfer to the airport for your flight back home (extra cost).

CANCELLATION POLICY
-between 30 and 59 days prior to departure = 50% loss
-within 30 days of departure = 100% loss
It is mandatory for all of our travellers to have Emergency Medical insurance that covers for both emergency evacuation and repatriation to the sum of $200,000 USD. We also strongly recommend purchasing an all-inclusive plan that covers cancellation/interruption insurance as well. Please contact us for a quote.
